ABOUT US
Toronto Welds is owned and operated by Paul Serianni, a proud Toronto born tradesman, with 18+ years experience. Paul is a Red Seal certified Industrial Millwright (433A), a journeyman licensed Construction Millwright (426A), and is certified to Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) CSA W47.1 standards (multi-process).
His journey into manufacturing began as a 17yr old sweeping the floors in a local aerospace machine shop. Seeing the equipment in operation and subsequent finished products motivated Paul to attend George Brown College (GBC). He completed a diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technology with a focus on machining and tool and die making. Paul returned to GBC and successfully obtained a diploma in Welding Technology. After a few years of travelling the country as a contract mobile welder, Paul returned to Toronto where he began an apprenticeship as a Construction Millwright. Once again at GBC Paul obtained a diploma in Mechanical Maintenance.
Paul has worked as a lead-hand, foreman, and welding program coordinator for some of North Americas largest mechanical contractors, on projects such as steam/gas turbine rebuilds, nuclear power generation, oil/gas refinery, large structural builds, food/beverage processing plants, metal stamping, plastic mould injection, aluminum fabrication, titanium and exotic alloy welding.
Paul balances his love for welding and manufacturing with as much family time as possible and a healthy dose of the outdoors.
